Prior to American Discovery Capital, Kyle held various roles in technology finance. Kyle was interim CFO at a regional IT staffing company and prior to that led corporate development for Insidesales, a predictive analytics software company with a valuation in excess of $1 billion. At Insidesales, he completed an equity raise that included both Microsoft and Salesforce.com as strategic investors and led various acquistions, including C9.
From 2010 to 2013, Kyle was a Senior Vice President in the Technology and Services group at Moelis & Company. During this time, the transactions Kyle executed include representing OnAssignment in its acquisition of Apex for $600 million and Epicor in its sale to Apax Partners for $1 billion.
Before joining Moelis & Company, Kyle was a Director at UBS, where he executed transactions including Epicor’s acquisition of NSB Retail for $330 million, the sale of Equator to Altisource for $150 million, the successful hostile defense advisory of Epicor, and various other M&A, debt, and equity transactions for clients including IBM, SuccessFactors, Business Objects, and others.
Prior to joining UBS, Kyle had been with Wachovia Securities in the Technology and Services Investment Banking Group. Before his successful career in finance, Kyle worked in customer engineering at Cisco Systems. Kyle holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UCLA and an MBA, with honors, from the University of Michigan.
